Experiential activity “Little Farmer” – Love Class
At Duc Son pagoda’s vegetable garden, the children experienced the work that farmers have to do every day. They used farming tools to rake and hoe to loosen the soil. They sowed seeds in the motherland, learned how to take care of some agricultural products and were guided by farmers on how to harvest agricultural products.
Through this experiential activity, the children understood the value of labor. They understood to some extent the hardships of farmers in the not-so-pleasant weather in Hue. Thank you for the sweat of farmers so that we can have agricultural products to eat every day. We will always cherish and treasure the food we have.
Thanks to the experiential activities of learning by doing, children will increase their fine motor skills, practice their flexible and skillful hands.
Children will learn to love nature and love motherland. Everything that nature gives us is due to how we treat mother nature. Cherish the seeds we plant, love and care for them well, then we will have sweet fruits in the future.
