Two meaningful journeys of discovery: the “Nhat Binh Tells Stories” project and the “Hue’s Charm in the Ao Dai” project.

❤️During their project-based learning journey at Lam Ty Ni Kindergarten, driven by curiosity and unanswered questions, the children embarked on two meaningful explorations: the “Nhat Binh Tells Stories” project and the “Hue’s Beauty in the Ao Dai” project – two different streams that converge on the beauty of Vietnamese national culture.

🔎From their daily observations, experiences, and questions, the children expressed their desire to meet a “real expert” to learn more. After discussions, exchanges, and brainstorming sessions, the Bao Dung and Thau Hieu classes, together with their teacher, developed a plan, prepared questions, and eagerly awaited their meeting with Ms. Thai Kim Lan – a cultural researcher who has dedicated much effort to preserving and spreading the beauty of the Vietnamese Ao Dai.

Did the Nhật Bình dress appear in 1807?
Are you the person currently preserving the Emperor’s Nhật Bình dress?

Why does the áo dài have two panels?
Where did the áo dài originate from?
Could you show us a real Nhật Bình dress?

📓📙With dedication and warmth, she listened and answered each of the children’s questions, helping them to understand more deeply the beauty of the Nhật Bình dress in Hue Imperial Court culture, as well as the formation and significance of the áo dài in Vietnamese life.

🗂️This meeting was not just an experiential activity, but also a milestone in an active learning journey – where the children learned to ask questions, plan together, and bravely connect with knowledge from real life.
